For one week each October, Chicago Ideas Week (CIW) brings together some of the world’s most outstanding speakers to present their ideas and inspire the innovations of tomorrow at 80+ sessions across the city of Chicago.

With a common interest in supporting idea generation, sharing and action, Workspring will be hosting  two CIW Labs, offering participants a unique, insightful experience at our Chicago centre.

Start with the Future and Work Back

Wednesday, October 15 from 5:30pm-7:00pm
How can you use storytelling methodologies to illuminate history? Bruce Weindruch, CEO and Founder of The History Factory, shares his insights into leveraging historical content into a compelling story. He’ll lead you through the history of Workspring and the Inland Steel Building in which the company is currently located, examining the relationship between Workspring and its location’s history. You’ll then dive into a historical case study and learn how to mine historical context for stories that can benefit any organization.
